The HF&C Group is an e-mail-based meeting of Cocaine Anonymous, a 12 Step Fellowship dedicated to helping addicts seeking recovery from cocaine and all other mind-altering substances.  While many of our members have been addicted to cocaine or crack, not all have, and we offer membership and support to all who have drug or alcohol addictions.

Like most e-mail lists, each message to the list is echoed to each member. In order to prevent unsolicited mailings to the group, we limit participation to subscribers. Subscription requests must be confirmed from the given address before the subscription is entered. There is no cost for a subscription -- the only requirement is a desire to stop using cocaine and all other mind-altering substances.

HF&C is an e-mail group. It is not a chat line; there is a slight delay before messages are posted to the group and responses will happen as they happen.   It is best described as the world's slowest cross-talk meeting of C.A.

We currently have over 400 members on 4 continents and several islands.  The format of the meeting is designed to allow members in any time zone to participate equally, with minimal technical requirements.

NOTE: To permit open discussion of sensitive matters, HF&C is only open to addicts who are seeking recovery.

WARNING:

E-mail volume is currently running at 10-20 messages per day. If this volume of mail would be a problem for you, you might want to consider the digest version.  Each digest contains the last 10 messages.

You may also want to consider whether you wish to have e-mail on the subject of cocaine addiction arrive at the Internet account you are currently using. Subscriptions are entered at the address the subscribe message is received from, and the name displayed to other members is the display name on that e-mail.  Some users find that webmail accounts provide more anonymity than their normal e-mail accounts.

HF&C is an accredited group of the Cocaine Anonymous Online Service Area.
