"Cocaine Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others recover from their addiction. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop using cocaine and all other mind-altering substances. There are no dues or fees for membership; we are fully self-supporting through our own contributions. We are not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization, or institution. We do not wish to engage in any controversy and we neither endorse nor oppose any causes. Our primary purpose is to stay free from cocaine and all other altering substances, and to help others achieve the same freedom."

"Sisters In Sobriety" is an e-mail-based meeting of Cocaine Anonymous. Women seeking recovery are encouraged to join SIS.

Like most e-mail lists, each message sent to the list is echoed to each subscriber, including the sender. In order to prevent unsolicited mailings to the group, we limit participation to subscribers. There are no dues or fees for a subscription -- the only requirement is a desire to stop using cocaine and all other mind-altering substances.

SIS is an e-mail group. It is not a chat room. There is usually a delay of several minutes between sending a message to the server and it being distributed to the group.

and you will receive individual messages from the list. Please note that an individual subscription may result in several dozen e-mails a day from SIS.

This will reduce the amount of SIS mail you receive to one digest every 10 messages.

Please do not change the subject line of the subscribe request or the list software will not be able to process your subscription!
